A free family cycle ride across Manchester to celebrate the Clarion Cycling Club and enjoy the Clarion exhibition at the Working Class Movement Library.
After starting at either Bolton or Stockport, both groups will converge at People's History Museum (PHM) to welcome the Clarion Cycling Club (CCC) arriving on penny farthings and vintage cycles. Take the opportunity to peak at the riders and see their cycles up close. There'll also be time to explore PHM's display of Clarion materials, followed by a guided family cycle ride with the CCC riders to the Working Class Movement Library where all cyclists will be treated to a Clarion tea!
Spend time at the Library browsing the Library's new exhibition The Clarion - a paper, a movement, a way of life, including information on the Clarion cafe in Market Street and items from the Bolton Clarion Club.
